Hide-a-bed

I posted this before but I didn't see it come up so guess I did something wrong.
The question I was asking was if anyone had had any problem with the Hide-a-bed sofa because of a heavy person sleeping on it. I was wondering just how much weight would it hold up too. We have some heavy friends that we enjoy their company and would like to take them with us sometimes but we hesitate because of the sofa. It would be costly and embarrasing if it was broken.
Thanks for any answers or comments you wish to share.
