Rim Pressure Ratings
Anyone have the maximum pressure rating for the Aluminum rims used on the Montana's? It is usually stamped or cast onto the rim. My MH rims are steel and have a 92# max.

I was told I think by Kerry that it is stamped on the inside of out rims. You can look and see if it is there on your rims. My rims are steel.

The aluminum rims on the Montanas are 110#, should be stamped on the back side of the rim. Kerry

Are ALL of the aluminum rims rated at 110 lbs. or just the newer ones with 7000 lb axles?

Well the answer is, the rims on the older units are rated for 80 lbs.

It will be stamped on the backside of the rim or on the inside which you cannot see with the tire mounted. As Montana does change rim designs and manufacturers it would be best to not necessarily take what you read hear as gospel.

That's right Glenn, they are not all the same in many respects, even in the same year

Good advice Glenn, always check everything. That is why I try to share links so you can read the information yourself. On occasion the links are too long to post. MY OP referenced the stamped information on the rims. Even if Keystone tells me the pressure ratings I will still check the rims. I consider the forum as the equivalent of getting together at a campsite to have an informal talk on issues of mutual interest. I value the shared knowledge of those who have many more years experience RVing than I have. Given that many of us are into our second half century we know how valuable experience really is.
