Getting ready

Replaced two 12 volt batteries with new, installed new satellite dish and two receivers, isolated water pump with rubber, replaced dining slide topper. Ready to roll. Next trip is the NE Rally. Tick tock.

I hear ya. We finally got out this weekend. We are sitting in the rain at Old Mill Stream in Lancaster. But who cares if it is raining. We are camping and hitting our favorite shopping places and buffets. See you soon.

It's all about having fun and enjoying what you are doing. Weather just makes it nicer if it cooperates. Our weekend here in the Blue Mountains was a bit cool and we had some rain but we enjoyed camping with our friends. Now to get ready to pull back to the homestead, get everything ready for work and then enjoy the last night of the weekend. Monday and work will come to soon but I realize that is what provides the money to do the fun stuff.

Sounds like you've had a busy time of it. Great when you get the chores done early in the year.

I like the "isolated water pump with rubber" upgrade. Enjoy your travels!

Sounds like some great additions to the Monty. We are replacing the manual-to-electric awning and adding satellite to our rig come Fall. Preparing for wife's retirement for 55-day western trip and 80-Florida snow birding. We are sorry to NOT being able to make the NE Rally this year--we really enjoyed it and the people last year. Enjoy NY!

We are getting ready too. I am going to take my broken knee cap and the wife up to Grand Casino Hinckley, Minnesota. Never camped there before but it is a highly rated resort.

Before leaving Florida I had to take my rig into Josam near Orlando and have a bent axle straighten. I wore out the inside of my tires (G614) on the rear axle. Replaced the tires on that axel with Saliun 637. Josam is a specialty shop that deals with frame, alignments and axles. During their inspection they found the rubber on my Morryde suspension was torn on both sides. Wednesday my rig goes into my SIL's Shop to have the rubber shear spring replace on the suspension, wheel bearing repacked, wet bolts greased and brakes checked. Like NCFishers, our next trip will be to the NE rally. My rig is an 09 and has seen a lot of miles so it's time to get her back in shape. She's one of the last Big Sky's built on their own line and a keeper.
