No Insulation in Slide
Went to add a dimmer switch to the dining area light. When I opend up the wall and removed the switch I found the scum suckers at Keystone had not put any insulation into the slide wall between the window and the inside wall.
My livingroom slide has a window in each end. Between the window and the inside of thr 5er is about 6 ro 8 inches of wall. Both ends ... no .. none ..nada just hollow wall.
Anybody going to winter in one of these things should try a little tap test. Tap the wall with your finger and see if the sound changes from the outside wall to the inside. I bet you will find a void near the inside of the 5er.
Now ... anybody got a way to insulate these cavities????????
