In Command App Problem
We have the In Command console which can be accessed via Bluetooth. Starting last week, the In Command app keeps crashing. I have to restart the app 2-3 times to get the awnings out. Has anyone else had this problem? It's not the bluetooth. I have several devices attached to my iPhone 8 via bluetooth and have not had problems. Thanks

we've never had any luck with the in command app, finally gave up and just use the console, when it did work, it was quite handy.

It may help to re-start the in-command console and/or command unit.
I've had various app issues and this usually has helped.

You might have too many things still open and running in the background on your phone. In command does not like that especially if it is a prior in command operation. I had similar issues and AST made me aware of this. Double click your phone screen access button, then swipe up to close out everything that is still in the background. Mine works great if the phone is cleared.

The iPhone app for me becomes unresponsive at times. I also find that if you close the app(s) and reconnect it resolves the issue. I do like the ability to remote control things.
For a few days we’re moochdocking with family; connected Winegard to their WiFi; connected iNCommand to the Winegard; and just used the app via Global Connect to turn on the water heater. Nice when it works like it should. But when it doesn’t I just get a few more steps.

If you have IC connecting via BT and WiFi it usually helps to disable WiFi or BT on your phone and then open app. I recommend BT as some items are not available over WiFi (since WiFi can be used remotely via the internet).

I had similar problems at one time. Try deleteing the app and re-install. On the inCommand panel, go into the Meno option, then Status to see what if anything is connected, then the Bluetooth menu to see what is going on. It can be cranky.

Dump the app completely off your phone and reload it. If your phone hasn't loaded the updates that will cause it to malfunction.

I have the same problem with ours. Have to reboot it about once a week. I called and talked to ASA the company that makes it. They told me it has something to do with how Montana wired it up. He said sometimes the just get any 12v hot wire. If they don't hock it up right it will crash now and then. Has nothing to do with your phone. Call them 800.688.3135 and they will help you. That panel in the basement is where the fix is where its at.
