Norco fridge

We have the Norco 4Door fridge in our 3820fk. Lately, every time we hit the road and we pull over for a break, I'll check the inside for any mishaps. When I go in, I hear the fridge beeping signaling "no fl". We checked both tanks and they both have fuel in them. So, I turn it off then back on and it's ok. Till we stop again and it's going off. Anybody know why or what to do?

I bet you open the slides to check the status. There is a problem with some models where the flexible gas line from the coach to the slide kinks when the slide is retracted. Open the slide and you get gas again. There have been many posts on this problem.

Dont have to open slides to access the kitchen up front. BTW, The fridge is not on a slide.

If the line isn't kinked, then it's probably air flow when you are traveling that is blowing out the flame. Paul Unmack, with ARPrv discussed that at our last Quartzsite rally in January. Unfortunately, he had no suggestions on how to avoid this problem, as it is just how air moves around the rig, and on some the air just moves in a way to blow the burner flame out.

No, not a fridge flaw, just the unique aerodynamics of the RV and the placement of the fridge in the air flow as the rig travels down the road.

Janine, we are FT in a 3820FK as well and have NO problems with our Norcold operating on gas while we are moving. Have you tried running it on gas while you are set up? Joe

No, but we can use gas while parked. We have it set to switch automatically from electric to gas, but I wonder what would happen if I just set it on gas when we hit the road again? I'll keep ya all posted.
