Does anyone know the brand of valve Keystone used in the 2012 3150RL model ? I am thinking of replacing the two pull cables on the washroom gray and black tank valves, and converting the galley gray tank to a cable pull (eliminating the direct pull under the slide - groan), routing it to the Convenience Center.
On the Valterra site, they show the cable-actuated valve with the inner cable terminating in a set screw on the valve rod. I haven't pulled the Chloroplast down to see the existing valves, hence my question about the brand/type of cable-actuated valves there now. Any information on the two existing cable-actuated valves really appreciated. I want to avoid exposing the underbelly and then waiting for parts to cross the border into the Great White North.

I replaced all 3 of my valves 2 years ago. Your valves should be Bristol valves. I installed Valtera valves. I ordered the valves and cables separately so I could install the proper length cable routed and anchored along the way with minimal bends. Your valves should all be cable operated. Like you want, I moved the galley pull from its original location forward using a 10' cable, I mounted the pull in an unused hole in the middle level up leg.

Don't wast your money on new Bristol valves, upgrade to Valterra.

Agree! I just upgraded the original black tank dump valve with the 3" Vaterra valve and cable this week. It is much nicer than the original. You will be glad you did this upgrade.
