Slide Outs - start and stop

We have had an issue where the slide outs will start and then stop, start and stop and will eventually retract fully or extend fully. Which appears to be breaker issue, but we are also wondering if it may be related to the hydraulics.

Anyone have this issue?

Very common, upgrade your autoreset breaker on the back wall of the battery compartment with one of these or similar:

80 amp auto-reset breaker

What Bingo said. Many of us have been there, done that. Although solutions have varied.

It usually is hydraulic related in that it usually is a problem when the temp is cold. Keystone changed our breaker to an 80amp under warranty and that solved it.

I can't explain why but I have owned 2 Montanas (2008 with electric landing gear and a 2012 with 6 point leveling) and neither one has had this problem.

Yup, common problem. Usually only occurs on battery. Breaker' upgrade almost always resolves.

Replace the relay. I've done on two units already.
That's the 80 amp replacement in the photo.
$5.00
