remote control air/furnace

I have a 2005 Montana, with a remote control for furnace and air conditioner. Not the best feature installed by keystone. Past six months, occasionaly the 'timer' light comes on and to shut off must press timer button twice and wait about aminute and light goe out. If we do not notice timer light, furnace or air may start. How do I stop this from happening? thanks.

I don't have one and haven't see that remote, but on most, there is a setting for the timer that must be pushed, I think maybe you can 'toggle' off that timer setting.
Do you have the model of the remote and of the thermostat? Maybe there are instructions you can find on a search.

Replaced my failed 05 Remote Comfort Control with the simple digital Dometic Replacement for about $100. Requires a new board in the AC unit and removal of "phone" type connectors at both end and just using the remaining wire.
Search the forum for more info and pics of this replacement if interested.
