Water pump delays

I noticed when I pulled my 2014 3150RL out of storage and preparing it for travel that my water pump took muck longer to stop after building pressure when closing the faucet etc. It didn’t take that long before. I ended up replace the pump with the identifier model because I thought the pump was old and worn out. The pump seems to work fine except that it still takes longer than before to stop when shutting things off (sink, etc.) The trailer is not quite level but the fresh water tank is completely full. The valves are properly in the normal position. Would the slightly unleveled trailer cause the delay? I’ve purged the air out of the system throughly I think. Any suggestions? Thanks

Probably a fitting has come loose. They tend to do this over time. Besides the issue you are now having you'll probably experience the pump coming on momentarily when no one is using water. Tedious process but only solution I know is to start hand tightening all fittings in the water system.

I would look at the position of the valves used for winterizing, and make sure they are in the correct position.

You have air in the lines somewhere, which needs to pressurize. Most likely, in your water heater. And ... really, nothing you can about it there. If it's running longer, have you noticed if you start running your water, it takes longer for the pump to turn on too? If so, it's definitely air in your lines or the water heater tank.
