5th Wheel bedroom TV mount

Good day all! I have a new 2021 Montana High country 334BH. As in most new RV's the bedroom has TV setups already available, but I am really sketchy about putting a hole in the wall to add a mounting bracket. The sticker indicates where it should go but I just do not trust it. Here are my questions: 1) is the sticker showing the actual spot to add the mount or should I move to one side or the other (is there actually a stud behind there?) 2) The screws that come with the mount are a little over an inch long, how thick is the wall cavity (it just feels as though it will go right thru the exterior siding)

Thanks a bunch in advance for the help

There's usually a backer plate behind the sticker adequate to use a regular wall mount. The walls of most all Montana's are 2 in thick aluminum square tubing plus the paneling cover. RVs are not like a stick house. The aluminum frame is not on 16-in centers, several places there is little rhyme or reason where the tubing is. On a real dewy morning you can go outside your camper and see the wall studs.

Get a stud finder. I think they work on metal or wooden studs.
