Moving in-Command panel to improve Bluetooth

Hey friends,
I have a 2016 3710FL that uses a Bluetooth connection between the in-Command and the BCM in the basement. ASA Electronics has suggested I move the in-Command closer to the BCM to improve the Bluetooth reliability. I like that idea and think I might be able to do it myself.

I thought the best place to begin my research would be to ask you guys if you’ve done that, and if you have any suggestions for me?

As always I appreciate your help.
Rick
