External Refrigerator fans not working

Yesterday my Dometic refrigerator display showed 42 degrees (normally 33). I opened the upper access panel on the slide and saw that all four fans were not running. With advice from a previous post I removed the 2 red wires from the thermal switch to see if it was defective and bypassed it by reconnecting the wires through a 20 amp spade fuse. Unfortunately fans did not run. With the limited viewing area it is difficult to see but I could tell these red wires ran down to the fan area. Then I opened the lower access panel and could see a red and black wire going up towards the fan area but again very difficult to see where they went.

As a temporary fix to save the food in the fridge I hooked up a muffin fan in the lower area to blow upwards and this is helping for now. Can anyone give me advice on the next step of troubleshooting?

Do you have a voltmeter and know how to use it?

I agree with DR above. See if you can find out why your existing fans aren't working.

Beyond that, it's easy to add your own high volume fans and thermistor. We have the same trailer. I put a couple in mine to help manage the heat build up in the space behind the fridge

I have a voltmeter. I’m not an electrician but I know the basics.
