Frig not working on gas
I am in timeshare while traveling and stored trailer in lot with no electricity. The frig runs on gas and I check it the next day and the light is flashing. I turn off and back on and the light comes on green. I go outside and listen and I can hear the flame going, so I know it is working.
What could cause this? There is plenty of gas, as the stove works fine with 2 burners on high.
Thanks.

Tom, How are you keeping your battery charged? Could it be getting low?

If you are storing the rig with the slides closed but you have to open them to access the refer, consider a pinched propane line (under the slide) as a possible issue.

Slides staying closed. The battery is kind of low - showing 1/3 on the test lights. I have 1 12V and 2 6V that I can switch between. Both are about 1/3 - haven't got out my volt meter yet tho. The batteries sort of sounded weak when we put the landing gear down. Not sure why they would be down like this since all we did is drive 80 miles from another campground where we were hooked up on 50A service for a week. And I leave the power plugged in while I put slides in and hitch up the truck. ???
Oh, the 6V are brand new (30 days) trojan batteries.

Parasitic drains can draw those batteries down quickly. If the fridge has any fans on it that will add to the draw. How long has it been stored with no power?

I am checking daily. It has been stored for 4 days now. Today I also used my voltmeter. My 2 6v batteries are at 12.68 total, so I don't think the batteries are the issue. But each day I check the frig is flashing but when I turn it off and on, I can hear the flame burning outside the frig vents.

Tom,
I agree with Carl. You may have a gas line kinking with the slide in. Try it with the slide out.

Need to get it somewhere you can plug into power. Make sure it still works on AC. Cooling unit may have leaked and will not work AC or propane. Look in back for yellow crystals under cooling unit.

I put in a 10 lb bag of ice 3 days ago and it is staying around 35 in the frig. We are in Breckenridge and lows around 50 and highs around 70-80. We will be leaving Saturday toward the toasty mid-west, so the frig will get a better test then.
