Water in A/C duct

I have a 2017 3911FB with 2 Dometic a/c units. The front one is a low profile (Penguin II?) and the unit seems to not have "freeze guard" (my understanding is the compressor should shut off if close to freezing temp-this does not happen [no change in noise]). I noticed the last couple of nights the unit was dripping water out of the outlet vent (N Texas-79F/65% humidity?) (this has happened with the fan in auto and selected on high). I removed the unit cover, insulation piece, black plastic to get to the evaporator side and found the probe installed in the fins correctly and the water drain holes were not plugged, however, there was a large amount of moisture in the area (also, the unit does not seem to cycle the compressor or fan-have to shut the unit off manually with the thermostat-bad tstat?
(I know Dometic a/c units have been talked about extensively on this forum-can't seen to find this particular problem though?) Ideas??

I had water coming through the ceiling joint and dripping on the couch below the rear A/C on my then new 2019 384BR. Had it at 2 different dealers with no help. I finally pulled the A/C and found the A/C gasket not lined up with the cut out hole in the roof allowing water to drain into the cold air vent and leak out on to the ceiling panels. Removed the old gasket, installed a new one in the correct location and have not gotten a shower while sitting on the couch since.

Thanks Harrisden54-I was hoping not to have to pull the unit (as I've read of the poor Q.C. by the some of the Keystone assemblers not caring about whether they're doing things right when they put these units together) and all my problems seem to have started when I took the garden hose up to wash out the condenser fins (so much for preventative maintenance). This also started the error code E4 to flash in my thermostat (the Dometic techs said this indicates no outside temp reading for the heat pump-since this unit is only a/c they said don't worry about it?)
