Help to identify roof vent
I was on the roof today and noticed a vent cap missing.
I am trying to identify what this vent is so I can order the part.
It is located to the back of the roof behind the ac.
Can anyone tell me what vent this is?

wouldn't that one be an attic vent? I think the sewer and drain vents are open under the caps

I believe it is an attic vent. You should have two of them, one in the rear and one in the front.

That is an attic vent. Obviously the cap that screws down has come loose and blown away. You might check with your dealer for a replacement.

Thank-you for the responses, the information and the links.
I will order the part and add another item to my periodic maintenance check list. Didn't realize there was that much space between the ceiling and the roof for there to be an "attic" and vents.
Again - thanks for the help.

SIMONSRF you have to be kidding? There cannot be more than 4 inches if that between the the ceiling and the roof. I could beleive string Xmas light bulbs!

I found mine at Camping World, they were not in the store but in their shop. Had to talk to one of their actual parts people. The regular counter personnel did not know about the item. I think the part no. mentioned in the link was correct. The fellow at Camping World said he ordered them from Heartland I think....$7.15 each. Later I learned the Montana dealer in Selma, TX had a pair. Selma is just north of San Antonio.

Doug, the purpose is to allow moisture/condensation to escape, and I'm sure the attic gets plenty of moisture. It used to be one of the selling points of the Montana over the Everest and similar rigs. However, I believe Everest now also has attic vents. Attic vents are a very good thing, by the way!
