USA Campgrounds

Has anyone heard of USA campgrounds? Could only find one in the Gallup NM area. From what I heard this is suppose to be a chain like KOA. Reason I am asking is all service men and women stay free.

Thanks for your help

No.. It is to be like KOA. They were to have campgrounds thru out the west and into the plain's but I don't see anything on the internet except the one campground that come's up in Gallup New Mexico.

I googled it - usarvpark.com. Looks like they own 8 parks in the west. The one in Gallup was built as a KOA (based on the signature “A-frame” main office building in the website photo). I don’t know anything about them though.

The place in Gallup is very nice and big. During the summer at least, they also have a little diner that serves very good BBQ and trimmings. I am pretty sure they have military discounts, etc. Oh, I think there is an USA flag painted on the bottom of the pool too!!!

Stay in the park in Gallup any time we are in the area. Active service military can stay there for free. The bbq was still good last time there.
