Refrigerator fuse location

The refrigerator auto and gas light are both on and it seems the refrigerator has switched over to propane. We have electric and the circuit breaker did not trip. Before calling the repair guy out, again, where do I fond the fuse to check that out. Thanks

Found it, 5 amp was blown. I guess it pays to read the manual.

And I guess you are going to make us read the manual by not telling us where the fuse was found???? Cruel and unusual punishment is specifically a no-no and forcing us to read any manual is definitely cruel and unusual punishment!!!!

What amazed me was that the manual not only told about fuse replacement as a means of trouble shooting but a few other general maintenance procedures as well. Oh yea, the location(s). There is an in line, very visible, when you remove the lower cover. The other two are located behind a black cover used to protect the board. There is a 5 amp and a 3 amp on mine. The 5 amp is the one that blew. With that said, I really feel like an expert now, NOT. Also the manual was very specific about turning off the fridge and unplugging from the outlet before replacing the fuse.

Thanks Dick, you are the hero of every MOC forum male member who can now rest more easily knowing that we don't have to resort to reading the fridge manual!!!! Seriously though, the information and remedy that you unearthed will at some point prove to be beneficial to many of the members!!

Yes, thank you very much! Hopefully I'll never need this info but I am sure glad to be aware of the fuses.

Dick,
I don't know about the enshrinement compliment, but I will say that anyone who makes a contribution to the MOC is held in high esteem in my mind and I am sure the minds of others. Don't forget that most knowledge comes from experience (which includes many mistakes). I have learned a lot of things the hard way, and feel that I have to post the mistakes and the resolutions to keep others from making the same mistakes that I have (which there have been many of). Anyway, I would have to defer to Ozz for your enshrinement ceremony since he is the President of the MOC Mod Club!!! Hee Hee!!
