Tomorrow AM, for those that might be interested

Tomorrow AM, on my blog, Reflections From the Fence (see URL below) I make a stab at describing the process of parking about 50 units in a 420 foot circle. A few photos too.

What I thought sounded like a parking challenging is easy peasy, such smart wagon masters and assistant wagon masters we have!

Carol, well put. After attending the Circling of the Montanas I leave with great respect for this great tradition. There are negative posts and input by many that want to manage this effort with some past management experience. It's so much more and words will fade and next year Jack and Dave will truly have a great Q rally. We are grateful for Robbie, Alice and the great circle and...um....um....the weather was fantastic too!

That was a great explanation of how the circle is accomplished.

Carol,

Nice explanation of how it is done.

One issue not discussed in your blog is that there were only 2 people who did the entire layout well in advance of anyone showing up; then 47 x 2 (assistant wagonamasters) helped with the parking......and 4 couples who helped secure the site in advance.

....and thus some of the reasons why some had a hard time staying there.

FYI, the circle has a radius of 150' or 300' diameter, and an additional outside measurement of 60 feet for the truck..or 420 diameter. The circumference is then divided into 18' increments.
