Campfires

DW checked with the campground and finally received an answer that there are fire rings on each site, but their "policy" is for the firewood to be bought at the campground. I am not going to suggest anything against "policy" but if there just coincidentally happens to be some supplemental wood to add to "official policy" purchased firewood for membership gatherings around a campfire, then I believe that Sgt. Schultz said it best!! I have also checked and at present there is no wood quarantine in effect in this part of Virginia due to the Emerald Ash Borer.

Bingo-- You can have all the wood we had for the Central Plains Rally for our campfires! It was so hot during the Rally we never did start a fire. We just didn't want to add more heat to the air!! Only catch is you have to come out to Nebraska and pick it up or try and catch someone coming through here for your Rally and they can pick it up for you! Best of luck with your Rally and wish we could have headed your way this year but are heading to Anahiem, CA for a Letter Carriers Convention. We're then heading up to the State of Washington to enjoy some cool weather up there before heading back to Nebraska and preparing for the Goshen Rally. We won't be towing the Monte with us so it should be an easy trip! Again, best of luck with your Rally and be safe!

Okay Bingo, who wants to go to Nebraska to get our firewood?? Any volunteers?? Remember that we have to sneak it into the campground and discuise it to look like their wood. I'd go but I'm busy.

Jim and Bingo-- We'll disguise it as large ears of corn and you won't have any problems at all! Just tell them it's Nebraska popcorn for the Rally!
