Yellow Eureka Vacuum

I'd like to ask the ones who have been using the Eureka yellow vacuum how it's doing ? Are you still happy with it's performance. Walmart has one listed in sale paper for $34.63, it's a model 405A, is that the same one all of you have??

i'm not sure on the model #, but yes.I like it due to it's size. (not that I'm the one using it!)

I bought the little yellow Eureka after a lot of discussion on this subject several months ago.
I must say that I am very satisfied with mine. It really does a great job in picking up everything and the carpet stands up because the suction is so good. It is small enough to go beside the bed and also under the table. It is amazing when I empty the filter each time to see what was actually in my carpet. So, yes I am pleased with the little yellow Eureka.

We bought the Eureka awhile back. We think it does 'OK' but our carpet does not look as good as it did when we were using a true fullsize home vacuum cleaner. But, then, our carpet is getting to be in bad shape anyhow. Vicki says we will keep using the Eureka because it does OK and it gets into places our big one will not fit, like between bed and front closet.

We take the little 405 with us all the time even though we have central vac.

We also have the central vac but dragging the hose all over the place is a royal pain. The little yellow vac does a better job and is easier to use. I use the cental vac to clean the filter on the little yellow one.

Our little yellow wonder does well for us even with a dog in residence. We do on occasion use the big house vac for a super clean--but know that that is not an option for fulltimers. All in all--would also say that it's been a good deal for the price.

We have had the little yellow fellow for about 3 months and think it does a great job. Sure is handy and light.

We bought ours for our TT when we go that 2 years ago. I didn't know they were so popular. I just bought it because it was small and seemed like a good vac. It does pretty well, though I just tore it apart to clean the power head a couple of weeks ago.

I bought the same vac last Thursday and really love it. Fits the Monty well. Looks and feels and performs like a much bigger unit. Yes WalMart for $34
