Vent Fan Serial Number
Vent Fan Serial Number
I've got a popping noise on our bathroom vent fan as it raises or closes. It almost will not function now. Scared to try it again. someone told me it was the operator mechanism and that the serial number is needed. Cannot locate it. Any help would be appreciated.

When you contact MaxxAir, ask for an extra. I've replaced the operator mech in all three of our fans at least once and several 2 or 3 times.
Last time I contacted them I asked for a few extras for spare.
And don't let them charge you for the replacement operator as they know the part is crap, but it's cheaper for them to give you free replacements than it is for them to fix the problem.

Seems right now everyone is "out of stock". And on the Maxxfan web site or ETrailer, they're $40 while at the RVUpgrade Store $12. I'm doubting mine is in warranty. You have a good phone number? When I call and go thru the menu, I get a recording the parts ph# has changed. Then a recording of the number but I cannot catch it.
