Last Call for attendees complete with a mild rant!

To all attendees and potential attendees,
I have posted repeatedly with regards to trying to schedule and organize events with the same three or four respondents being the only replies. We have plenty of sites available, events have been planned, but we cannot even figure out what to bring to a grill-out if no one shows interest. We have organized a day-trip to an exhibition coal mine with limited interest as well as other functions to which we received no responses. If we are just going to camp at the same park and merrily wave to each other as we pass walking the dogs, then so be it. If you want to participate in community events, let us know. We will be arriving Wednesday night, and even if we do not receive additional interest, we will as a last resort have sign up sheets for the events at the Meet and Greet Thursday evening. We await the responses from the registered attendees and once again invite any interested MOCers to join us next weekend, Aug. 6-9 at Fort Chiswell RV Park in Wytheville, VA. To those who have taken the time to respond, it is appreciated, to those who have not, let us know what we have to do!!

Arrived today. If you can fill up in VA not WVA much diesel was much cheaper.

Does your post mean that we have Wi-Fi there John, or are you using an air card?? Curious about whether I will have to undergo MOC forum withdrawal symptoms?? Glad the damage was minimal, goes to show you how important the routine is!!
Bingo
I am on air card but checked and at site 4 I have access to their WIFI. So you should not suffer any withdrawals.

I have nephew down there in Wytheville and another one down in Rural Retreat. If you stop in the Walmart in Wytheville say hi to my niece Wanda! We live up in NJ. There are two Flying J's in the area within a few miles. One has cheaper diesel than the other. Go figure!!!

Wish we could make it but it is an 8 hour drive.

Have fun. Phyllis and Len

Rosetta and I arrive today around 1:30pm. We are parked next to John Khol in site 5. It has been raining here for about 2 hours steady. Bingo, as Rosetta mentioned in an earlier post we are here to help in any way you need us.
