Indiana Campground/weekly rate

Bill and I are in Sault St. Marie today and plan to be near Goshen two weeks early for the rally. We've stayed at Elkhart Campground in the past and Fireside Resort in Auburn on a weekly rate. Does anyone else have a suggestion?

There's one in Shipshee, one just north of Middlebury at hwy120 and 13, and another west of there about 3 miles. Eby Pines. It use to be really nice but I have not seen it in 35 years. Check with the fair grounds in Goshen where your going to the rally. You may be able to camp there and then move to your rally site.

Bill and Jan, if you really get in a rut, there is Twin Mills RV Resort on IN 120 2 miles west of Howe, IN. Is a little further out from Goshen but, I'm thinking the daily rate is 35 or 40 bucks. Don't hold me to that because, we are seasonal leasees there. Anyway, tell Paul the new manager that Dale from W72 recommended this campground and he might treat you right. On the other hand.....he might charge you double. Goshen won't be far at all should you decide Twin Mills is for you.

Shipshewana South is a good park. It is located a couple of blocks north of US 20 on St Rd 5. We just spent the weekend. They have mainly pull thru sites, with full hook ups and 30/50 amp service. Satellite is no problem at this park. Eby Pines is ok, they have seasonals, though most may be gone by then, but will show up on weekends. They have a few pull thru with full hook ups. Trees are an issue if you use a satellite.

See you at the rally

I remember when those trees were about 2-3 ft tall.
