Lippert system not functioning

A couple of months ago my slides would not go in on my 3710fl, I changed out the self resetting circuit breaker with an 80 amp resettable. That worked for two trips. After I unhooked from my last trip I pressed the auto level and nothing happened except an error on the screen. I tried to extend the slides and they did not work either. I bypassed the breaker and nothing happed, all I hear is a click from the motor once in a while.

Sounds like your batteries may be dead. Also could be a bad ground from the batteries.

Are they charged? What is the voltage on them?

Yes, they are charged.
Started running some test on the system and when I touched the Pos & neg sides of the pump with the leads from my meter the pump started working and for now everything is working as they should.

Make sure the ground wire from the batteries to the body is tight.

If the batteries are good And battery connections are clean and tight also check battery to frame ground... if that’s good then this simple series of tests will tell you if hyd pump motor and dual polarity solenoid are good

Did you check the position of the battery disconnect switch? Sometimes the switch can be turned to the wrong position causing the unit to run on battery power for about 48 hours or so.

Call Lippert directly. They provide excellent customer service for their products. They were on the phone with me for over an hour trying to get my auto level to work.

I had this same problem. Good voltage at the connections for the motor running the hydraulic pump. It turned out that the motor had failed. New motors are expensive but easy to replace. One way to get a few more cycles out of the failed motor is to tap it with a rubber mallet or the rubber handle of tool, or gently rap it with something harder. My experience with Lippert was excellent. They helped me to diagnose the problem and I avoided paying for the labor of diagnosis and replacement of the motor, the upcharge on the motor, as well as avoiding the camper downtime waiting for service.
