Clean up time!

I washed the Monty this morning; it’s amazing how much dirt I got off of it. Now to get the graphics finished but that’s another story.

With the number of posts I've read about graphics vanishing, my thoughts are that when they go on mine I'll just leave them off. If everybody did that, then perhaps the manufacturer would apply graphics that would stay on regardless.

When I was on an S. O. B. forum there was some talk/reference to a “white box” referring to other brands none in particular. I don’t think I want the white box look after having some of our graphics removed. I don’t blame you either on your thinking but if you ever replace them, ask the manufacture if they have been improved. I think they will tell you they have been.

Have seen several white boxes on the road..Don't like the look. Don't know why but our 06 graphics are in very good shape.

Washed mine today. The mountain on the front and the Montana lettering is coming off a little more with every wash. They just sent me new ones, but I don't want to spend the money putting them on only to see it happen again.

Bill I was on another forum and the topic was about decals SOB he rented a wall papre steamer and he had pistures of them peeling off real easy, thats what Im going to do become a snow bird montana
it will be much cheaper than the Goof Off in a spray can in the long run.

Ron- Is that a project for the Central Plains Rally in July? We're still looking for more participants for the Rally! So, if you hear of anyone heading our way in July tell them to check out the thread under "It's Time for a Rally" and contact me if they have any questions!
To keep to the subject--My decals are still in pretty good shape. I really have not noticed any peeling or chipping at all and ours is a 2004 unit!
Bill-- Had to look a little closer at the picture of your rig. Almost looked like you had a two wheel auto dolly (sp) hooked under the rig and you could tow it that way! Must be getting late or my old eyes need a rest!

Looks nice Bill. Mine are coming off too and I plan on leaving them off. I don't necessarily like the plain look either but don't feel like doing this every couple of years or so.

I got my first occurance of peeling decals when I washed my this past month. On the front the mountain still looks good, but the top of the Montana decal is peeling. I trimmed the peel back which made it look better, but I'm sure it won't be long before it looks a sight. The other decals look good. Don't know what is going on with the front.

Rich, I have an early 06 which is blue and the graphics are really starting to peel badly. This all started at about the 4 year mark.
