Slideout floor is back in now

New to us is a 2001 Montana fifth wheel. It’s big and heavy and needs work! We received it thinking it didn’t need as much as it does. Well we started pulling up the carpet and found the floor at the edges of the slideouts was completely rotted - even broke away on one side. We repaired our big slideout floor - over 12’ long. We also added HDPE plastic to facilitate better sliding for the slideout!

I appreciate your comment. Know anyone who has replaced the floor on the other slideout under the kitchen (stove,counter,refrigerator, etc)? I have yet to find a video on it. and would be interested to see how that went.
