Thanks to this thread, I now have 10 shiny new SS Footman Loops for 1" straps. I ordered them on Ebay. I tried Lowe's, Home Depot, and Ace Hardware. They tried to sell me the Bimini hardware at Ace. No one had them. Thanks!

At my local Ace Hardware (Hank's) down the street that has a pretty good inventory of difficult-to-find stuff these are called Strap Loops there.

Wow,
I guess I dropped the ball. I never found the footman loops at Home Depot or Lowes in Reno, NV. They can be ordered on the net. Strange thing, I am subscribed to this topic and have not received an email telling me there is a response. Are we still having problems with the forum?
Thanks to everyone for the help.

Where our recliners are supposed to be (moved them) there are D-rings which lay flat to the carpet and flip up for attaching strap. We now use them to tie down our table and chairs.

One other place you may want to try is any canvas maker that works on boat tops. If he doesn't have the size you want
he may be able to check his supply source to find what you need.

Rick,
You did GOOD!
The one inch showed out of stock but they had stainless steel.
They also had the flat hooks I need.

Everything needed is ordered.
Thanks for the help,

John, I saw these in Ace hardware in two different sizes. Can't remember what they called them. I can't remember, but I put it on my digital recorder...strap loops in three sizes: 1 1/4, 1 1/2, and 2 inch. The prices weren't marked. Black in color.
