Just more stuff
So glad we have time to sort out all the little things related to fulltiming before hitting the road. But it is sort of like being nibbled to death by a duck. On the "locked floor safe" door/step, we found three screws that snapped into just behind the threads. The result a sagging step. Before dawn I was up sawing a brace and taking the piano henge apart. Bottom line -- a very sturdy and safe "safe" step.
I don't know if all Montanas have a "scare" light on both sides of the coach, but mine does. The street side bulb needed to be replaced. Some how in the process I managed to put a screw through the black wire resulting in the loss of lights outside plus the living room 12 volt lights. I found that the fuse that should have protected the circuit failed to do so and left me with a dead post on the 12 volt circuit board. A multitester revealed that there was no voltage to the post for the living room. All others were showing 15 volts. The 15 amp fuse did not fail.
Question: has anyone else experienced this scenario and is the only solution require that I buy a new board?
