Lifters don't work smooth
We have a Lippert 6 point system and when we get ready to depart, the stablizers in the rear and the front landing gear do not raise up smoothly. They lift a little and stop. we have to release the button for a few seconds and then push it again. Sometimes we have to do this several times. Eventually we get them all up. I am worried that one day they won't go up at all. Any idea wha t may be causing this? Do others have a similar problem?

This sounds like the very common 12V self resetting circuit breaker problem. There are literally hundreds of Posts on this issue. Do a Search on "self resetting circuit breaker" (or variations) to see the discussions. Here is one to get you started https://www.montanaowners.com/forums...ad.php?t=74952
The solution is to replace the breaker with an 89 amp one.

Make sure your batteries are absolutely full or they'll struggle.

If you have hydraulic levelers, the issue could well be the self resetting thermal breaker feeding the hydraulic pump. If you have the electric system, then the issue could be with the self resetting breakers, depending on how the unit was wired. If you get a smoother retract while plugged into shore power, it is almost certainly tied to one of these breakers. You can jumper across one and retry to see if things smooth out. That would tell you the breaker is weakened.

Most people report the stop/start problem while extending jacks, not when retracting, and that has me a bit puzzled. Do you have the same issue if you're still hooked up to shore power? If not, its almost certainly the auto reset breaker. Lippert posted a bulletin authorizing an upgrade to an 80a breaker.

Ray, mine was doing this even with fresh batteries. I found out it was the factory installed 50 amp breaker, and that the fix was replacing it with an 80 amp one. Pretty easy fix.
