1st Timer

We are interested in attending. Just purchased our 1st 5th wheel a 2018 High Country HM345RL. Always had bumper pulls before. We’re looking forward to a new adventure.

Scubado, Keep watching the Forum and watch for sign up for the 2025 Rally to be held in Goshen. It's well worth the time to attend this one with all the sessions and getting to know fellow Montana owners from across the nation and Canada. The sign up will be announced sometime around April so keep watching and while you're watching for the sign up check out all the other postings concerning the Montana's bring up. Since you have been an RV owner previously, jump right in there if you can answer any of the questions or problems someone posts and if you have questions ask away. You will always get answers from those that might have had the same problem or question concerning their Montana. Welcome aboard and hope to see you around at the 2025 National Rally. You might also watch for Regional Rallies and attend some of them. They more social than informational and you get to meet some really great people from around the nation and Canada also.

during, pre-, and post-rally activities

Looking forward to our first rally in our 2022 MHC 295RL.

Wondering about what activities are usually enjoyed in the surrounding area; is it worth coming those extra days?

Noticed Fidler Pond is very close, do folk do group SUP/Kayak paddles? There is a 4-H shooting range close by, maybe a friendly little trap or turkey shoot?

Hope we can get online early enough to book a spot!

Preparations for a Vendor Install

I've some FB posts about people getting axle upgrades, etc. at the rally. I searched the 2024 posts and the 2024 FAQs with no luck to try and learn about getting appointments with vendors to do an install at the rally. I'm concerned about a vendor being totally booked before arriving at the rally.

Where would you look to get answers to this concern?

This will be our first rally, so please be gentle - Thanks!

It's too early to say which vendors might be at the rally this year. If you are interested in Independent Suspension from MoRyde you have to make that arrangement directly with them.
In the past, Dexter has given a set of axles to the club for the silent auction that they install. You can also contact them directly to make an appointment for an installation during the time at the rally.

Regarding your previous question about early arrival and things to do. There are lots of things to do in that area. The 4H shooting range has never been open when we were there the last 3 years that I am aware of. I know where it is on the perimeter of the fairgrounds, but I've never personally seen activity there nor has the MOC organized any activity there. I suggest you contact the fairgrounds about the hours of operation. Regarding Fidler's Pond, the MOC has never organized any paddling activities but, I think your questions are answered on the Goshen website: https://www.visitelkhartcounty.com/l...pond-park/909/

There's lots of other things to do over those two days in the area: RV Museum in Elkhart, Shipshewana, Middlebury. 0

Subscribe to this forum to get all the updates as they get posted, including registration opening in April sometime.
