Allatoona Landing campground

Hi all, We have a trip planned in a few weeks to stay at Allatoona Landing near Atlanta Georgia. We have never been there and was wondering if any of you have been there and possibly give some reviews.

We stayed there in October 2012. It is pretty nice though somewhat isolated.

Don't know what you are looking for in a park, but the Corps of Engineers also has a couple of campgrounds in the area. We have never had a bad experience with COE parks.

McKinney Campground is the name of one of the c.e.o. Parks there. We have stayed there on our way south a few times. I think it's a very nice campground. The price is right also.
