Info request - transiting Needles, CA,

Everybody has to be somewhere...but Needles, CA in August?

I just posted a request for Needles CG info in the Forum's CG Subject area. One "night" only (1000 to 0500 next AM). Any info re the CG choices. KOA, Marina RV Park, Northshore RV Resort (Coast to Coast) appreciated. We have a 3655FL, so it is a bit taller than many Montys and a full 38+ ft long.

Thanks,

The only thing I have to say is that I hope your A/C is working REAL good. Cuz it is hot there. We spent the night at by brothers in Blythe and about died. Kept the A/C on all night. It just doesn't cool down there at all. No info on CG's though. Sorry. Anywhere you stay it is going to be HOT!

Just checked the temps there today and it is 103 high and a low of 83. So be prepared. Good luck.

I am sure there are others but there is a campground at the marina in town, I think it's owned by the city, also a golf course. Not that far to Lauflin Nv. There should be a lot of campgrounds in the area, we used to stay at a state park south of Needles, Lake Havesu to the south has several also, 87 to 103 is not all that bad in the desert, really pretty good, I've camped there when it got to 115 in the afternoon.

There are a lot of good campgrounds along the river (Colorado). This is a very competive area (one of So. Calif's playgrounds) so most of the CG are good. Laughlin NV also has several at the Casinos. There is also a couple in Bullhead City AZ which is across the river from Laughlin. I don't think you will go wrong with any in that general area.
Happy trails......................

Try the Avi Resort South of Laughlin by the Veterans bridge---about 25-30 minutes from Needles. Its an Native American Casino/RV resort. Very clean and quiet. Lots of pull-thru's---we were there with our FL last Thanksgiving. They also have a gas station on-site. About 10 miles from downtown Laughlin. Here is their website.
