Leveling jacks and slides
Has anyone heard or experienced this issue?
I was retracting my slides and the front landing gear extended to their max height.
I feel this is really odd and have no idea where to start.
Any ideas?
Bob

Do you have in command or is it all analog switches? The slides and landing gears are completely separate systems and don't share anything except 12 volt power supply. I could see a potential glitch if you had a digital controller.

Is it possible that the valve for the landing gear was manually opened and allowing hydraulic fluid to enter the system?

I had this issue and it turned out to be the Hydac valve on the front landing gear master (driver side). I first made sure the manual valve (set screw on the Hydac valve) was closed (closes counterclockwise). It still leaded thru so I had to replace the valve. Lippert support is the place to start.
The hydraulics all operate off one pump and the Hydac valves control the flow. When the pump is running the non-operating valves must stop the flow - if they leak the rams will operate.

That was my first thought. Just couldn't remember "Hydac" valve. Senior moment.

Thanks for the info.
I have a digital system. We just got back from a short trip and saw some oily dirt on one of the front jacks. I’ll check with lippert on Tuesday and see what they have to say.
Thanks again

Had similar issue. Extended jacks and slides came out. A piece of blue hard plastic was in the system and had jammed one of the hydraulic valves open. Simple fix.

We have the opposite, at autolevel it pushes the dinnig slid out. Even after several checks by CW under support by lippert. A valve was replaced and it still happens. The kitchens slide are also moved with hydraulics

It probably means the valve that controls where the hydraulic pressure goes is stuck. It sounds like you are not a DIY guy so get a tech out or take it to the shop.

I had the passenger front jack replaced and they forgot to close the set screw on the valve (counter clock wise), this caused the slides to move with the jack and visa versa. Check the set screw but tighten it just until it seats, no more. If that doesn't work then it is most likely the valve. As said above call Lippert, they are a great help.
