Love My Montana

We've had our Montana since May 6, 2000. While we have had some problems, some minor, some major, we still believe we have gotten more bang for our buck. We've owned several other RVs, Holiday Rambler, Kountry Aire, American Traveler and Jayco. We had problems with every one of them. But not one of the other brands manufacturers helped us as did Keystone. I guess that's why I'm loyal to Keystone and will stand up for them wherever I go and whenever I have the chance. By the way, I've been around a long time and have never, ever had my head in the sand.

My sentiments exactly. Our first RV was a Monty and our current RV is a Monty and I wouldn't have it any other way.

We concur. I am trying to keep my promise to Terrie - that the 3400 will last us another five years. But then I see the new Big Sky and all of the upgrades since we got our 2005 and I start getting the urge. Although we have also had some minor issues, it hasn't detracted from the overall enjoyment of the unit. And, I don't know of any other RV company that has an owner's group like this.

Orv, you are right. After owning a Montana when we decided to get another unit we didn't look at any other brands.

Absolutely agree with you Orv. Our Monty isn't the only brand we've owned, but it will be the last. Our next Monty will be the 3485SA.

You caught me! I edited my post to reflect May 6, 2000! Thanks for catching that.

hahahaha - Orv - I missed it too, guess cause I already know. 2000 gives you about 7 more years of credibility and Pioneer status, rather than just another new guy on the block!

Orv,

This Montana is our first 5er and I can't imagine having any other brand. We have been living in this box for 8 months, and have had NO problems that couldn't be easily fixed. I am very satisfied with the quality of my Keystone product. After looking at the shortcomings of other 5er's, I feel my money was well spent.

The forum makes fixes easy.

Orv,

Darn, here I was all excited thinking you had purchased another Montana! It is my hope that your coach continues to provide you another wonder seven years ahead...

I again agree with you 1000%. Ours is a 2006 Montana 3475 and before we had a 2003 Mountaineer TT and that's why we bought a the 2006. We had some minor issues with it but like you, we have a very good dealer. When we go to buy a new one it will be from Keystone. They have been very good to us and that is what is called being loyal to them and there products in my book.Good product and good dealer makes life easier.

In response to a comment by my good friend "OntMont" I reported to him about our decision to keep our 2955RL for a while longer. I thought it might be shared with all on the forum so....

We looked "HARD" at a Montana in Florida. The salesman with whom we dealt back in 2002 is still on the job at RV Connections in Panama City and he had a model all picked out for us. We enjoyed being with him (he took us for a boat ride in St. Andrew's Bay and out into the Gulf), but we finally decided that we really like the smaller Montana we have and told him politely but firmly that this was not the time for us to trade. We still feel good about that decision.
