New to own rv Montana 3121RL

Wife and I just ordered our new 3121RL. It is 40 years since we owned an RV. We have owned big boats that I tow but this will be my first 5th wheel. We are looking forward to starting this new chapter in life. I welcome any and all input for a newbie. We live in Florida and first trip will be to go to Elkhart Indiana to pick it up and bring it home!

Congrats on your new purchase and when traveling through Indiana, (if coming up I-69), when you pass Anderson, Indiana and the Nestle's Bunny, wave! I live only about 2 miles from there.

Thanks and we will. I wish the first trip wasn’t so far and in December but that will be the learning curve!

You are quite welcome. And, here's an invitatioin. State Parks will have their water turned off, but electricity still turned on. Most private campgrounds close completely after Nov 1.

When returning back to Florida, you are welcome to stop by my place for an overnight. We live in the country, have a nice drive way you can back into, park beside ours, and I'll even let you plug into our 50 amp for the night. You can get hot showers, or break in yours if you want, test out all your systems, and get a really good night sleep! It's very peaceful, quiet, and dark here.

It's wide open. if interested, I'll give you directions, phone number, and address. And best of all, it's free! I'm just glad to help out fellow campers!

To drive, we are about 5 miles off the interstate. "As the crow flies", about 2.5 miles off the interstate.

Gotta get a picture if that bunny when we're in the area. Never knew it existed. Thanks!!!

If you're ever in the area the worlds largest Kokopelli is in front of the Starbucks in Camp Verde Arizona.

Your invitation for the OP to moochdock at your place is awesome. I just love this forum.

Congrats on your new rig! While you're in Elkhart be sure to give yourself time to stop by the: https://www.rvmhhalloffame.org

It's well worth the trip. And being Elkhart... they have plenty of RV parking.
