Furrion camera / monitor

Picked up our new 2021 3121RL Legacy in late December. On my first tow on our shake-down cruise I noticed the driver side camera image was foggy and after checking, moisture was inside the lens.

I contacted Furrion direct. They were very helpful and within a week, I had a replacement. I installed it without difficulty but they did not send instruction on re-pairing with the other 2 cameras. Any ideas?

Also, the monitor has a place for a 4th camera. Has anyone installed a 4th camera, if so, where? Can the view be set to just the 3 cameras (just sides and rear) if I leave just 3?

Is anyone using the Furrion TPMS?

Thanks.

John,

Our 3121RL is due in today or tomorrow. I believe the "typical" application for the 4th camera is a security camera at the door..

I'm curious about the integrated TPMS too. Does it do temp & pressure? What type of sensors?

Should have our rig on Tuesday if inspection on Monday goes well. Fingers crossed.

Download this PDF. It has everything in it you need to know to pair the camera and monitor.

The 4th camera is for above the door. However, to use it like a security camera, it will need to be powered and the monitor will need to be powered if you use it inside the camper.

The 4 window panes on the monitor will always display. You won't have 3 only ever. The forth one will always be black if you don't have the 4th camera.

I'm not impressed with Furrion cameras or programing ... learned to do without and don't miss it just the money i spent for them.

Unfortunately, you also can't keep it in the "4 up" mode. After a minute or two, the system reverts back to the rear camera, at least on mine. I read that was a request sent to Furrion, but afaik they haven't come up with a fix. It seems to me if I spent that much money on 3 or 4 cameras, I would want to view them most of the time. Hardly ever use the side views unless changing lanes or backing in a tight area.

a great feature on some Class A, turn on the turn signal and that same side camera comes on ... as said, for the price paid it would be nice if it was selectable view until changed. What's really frustrating, when backing up with a side camera on, it switches back ...
