Called Keystone CS today to check on frame recall and request a build sheet. Was told build sheet cannot be had, I thought I read in other posts that they could be requested.....which is it?? I gave the last 5 of my VIN and was told that I had 5,200# axles. I read on this forum that 6,000 AND 7,000# is the norm. Keystones spec sheet for my 2006 3000rk gives a dry weight of 10,210# with carrying cap of 2,615#.
from what I read here I trust ya'll more that Keystone so what do you think? Any way to check numbers on the axles to get a capacity?

Bernie,
We also have the 2006 3000RK, with the same axles you have. After I read the sticker on the side of the trailer, I wanted to be sure so I crawled under and looked at the axles. They are clearly stamped with the same 5200 lb. rateing.
I know it doesn't look like the numbers are correct, but you have to keep in mind a lot of the trailer weight is on the pin and not on the axles. I have never weighed mine, but have read that the 3000RK has one of the heaviest pin weights. I intend to weigh it the next time I hook up.

I just had the rear axel replaced on my 06 3000rk as it went straight but i am trying to find out what they put in ,, i had to weigh mine empty so to prove to keystone it is heaver than the 10200 lbs it weighs 10660 empty so you have less carring cap

I called customer service again today to see if I got the same story and I did, so I guess 5,200# is correct and you are right when you deduct the 2,300# at the pin box the numbers work out better. Still, this seems a little on the light duty side. BTW yesterday they said my unit was wired for the 2nd AC and today they say it is not. I love my Monty and this is my 2nd Keystone but from now on this forum will be my source of info thanks for the replies

I put a called into Keystone on Tuesday to Mark Krol. I recieved his vioce mail that stated he was in and busy but would call back just leave message. So I told him I was calling to check up on what he heard from the dealer and to give me a call at his convience...(he had called about 2 weeks ago saying he would call our dealer and see what could be worked out) It's Friday and I regret to say no phone call back as of yet. So I am trying to have patience but it is wearing thin.
