OEM A/C duct Reseal

Images from a new 2021 Keystone Alpine ..ain’t a Montana but they are basically the same… we’ve seen ten units now where low airflow from both overhead A/C units is due to lousy duct work from the factory…

If you haven’t pulled your units off and looked you might be surprised at what you find..

Four lag bolts to remove the unit.. no need to disconnect any wires…

The last two images are after removing the OEM foam mess and taping with aluminum HVAC TAPE.. time to accomplish .. less than 2 hours from start to finish

NOTE… this issue appears to be occurring on newer 2019 thru 2022 units with the Dometic NXT series air conditioner.

My 2014 uses Dometic Penguin and Brisk Air II units and the duct work was done properly …I removed my units back in 2014 shortly after buying it
