Rotochoks VS UF Chock & Lock
[font=Comic Sans MS][/font=Comic Sans MS}
Hi All, Does anyone have an opinion as to which is the better stabilizing trailer chock? Rotochok or Ultra-Fab's Chock & Lock?
Why is one better than the other?

We use BAL, got them from camping world, they are easy to put on and take off and work great.

I don't know anything about Chock & Lock but I've had Rotochok for about 3 years and love it.

We use the BAL A frame in the front. Home made wooden chalks between the wheels and home made braces with a strap between them in the rear. WE only put them all on for a stay of a week or more. Last trip to the Oregon coast nothing stooped it from shaking during the 4 point earth quake. Treecounter

Thanks to all responders, I have both types of wheel stabilizers and one set needs to go back. Ah, so much to learn. Any other comments are still welcome.
Say Harley rider, what make of King Pin Stabilizer are you using? Does everybody feel that this stabilizer is benificial?
Thanks

Rainbird,
I have the tripod on my kingpin and would suggest them. I have found it really helps with trailer movement. I leave my coach in the rv park at the marina all summer and I see both the tripods and bipods used on almost 90% of the full timers who leave the coach there all summer. I am not 100%, but I think my tripod is made by BAL. Enjoy your new coach.

I also have the tripod-picked it up at camping world-I believe the price was $125.

I had one old aluminum "Tandum Wheel Lock" that worked great. Simple lever throw. But I only had one, and at the time I could not find anyone who carried it. (Camping World now does carry it again.)
So when I saw the Chock & Lock on sale, I bought one for the other side. It was a lot cheeper that my old "Tandum Wheel Lock". However in my opinion, it is junk. No matter how I adjust it, it doesn't hold well. When I try to throw the lever, it just slips out of position. So to use it I have to squat down and use two hands.
I will be trashing it and buying another "Tandum Wheel Lock".
