One Chock or Two?
We are going to buy the between the wheel chocks to help take some of the movement out of the Big Sky. Does everyone use one or two? Our dealer thought only one would be necessary. Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks in advance.

TWO. Between the wheel chocks not only keep the trailer from rolling they also help eliminate movement making the rig more stable. They eliminate the back and forth movement inherent in the springs.
Can't believe the dealer said just one. If for no other reason than he is talking the customer out of an additional sale and more money in his pocket. That salesman needs more sales training and a better understanding about stabilization.

Definitely two, we’ve been in situations where we had to chock on a hill and it could have pulled side ways if we would have only used one. It will also help to make the camper more stable wile walking around in it.

Two here also. Ed didn't want to spend that much money but after we got them (I did), he likes them. They definitely help.
Happy trails.........................

Two homemade between-the-wheels. Two 4x4s cut on an angle with threaded rod pulling them toward each other. Easy to make. Easy to use. Jim

The sales person who told you that you needed only one is a danger! Giving out information that could actually get folks hurt (or worse) is not a good thing. The chocks are not just a stabilization feature but are first and foremost a safety feature.
Using only one chock (of any type) can be a recipe for disaster. If you are parked on any kind of grade the rig could easily twist and cause damage. Always use two and please educate the sales person before he/she gets someone hurt.
Travel safely.

I run four, one in front of the tire and one in the rear of the tire on both sides.

Since we only have one, you need two, one just isn't enough! That is another thing I need to buy.

We use two. They are put between the wheels before the slides are out. Bill knocks on the door twice when they are in.

I use two of the BAL Deluxe Tire Locking Chocks, one on each wheel. They have worked fine for me; however, if I had it to do over I would probably buy the Roto-Chocks even though they are more expensive.

Like most everyone, I use two BAL scissor chocks between the tires that push against each tire. Lucky for me they fit. I know of others that the tires are so close together they could not use that kind. They went with the Roto Chock or similar where the chock rod goes between the tires and the chock shoes are above and below the tire to create the friction. I hope I am describing this correctly.
I don't use triangle chocks that sit on the ground because they don't work if I have to raise either side of the trailer because the tires end up in the air when the blocks are put under them. Admittedly the ONLY place I use these is at home where I park the trailer because my driveway is pretty flat.

2 scissor chokes between the tires--one on each side. AND the yellow triangle wheel chokes in front of front tire and behind the rear tire. Maybe an overkill but the triangles are cheap and extra safety when setting up and unhooking/hooking up to the TV. Also needed for the "pull test" prior to hitting the road.

Agree with the form. Two Rotochocks. The ones CW sells were difficult to tighten under the fender skirt

I use two scissor chocks between the tires and the yellow ones on one side only. I put the between the tires under the scissor chock against the appropriate tires. Looks neater I think.
