New to the Group

I just picked up our 2021 3120RL in Indiana.
We have been RVing for many years, getting ready for retirement adventures.
Giving ourselves a year to really get to know our new rig before extended travel.
Have to learn the solar/battery technologies. Amazing stuff.
Many updates since our last TT was built in 2006.
New to pulling a 5th wheel.
We prefer dry camping but also stop in RV resorts.
Setting up the rig for off grid camping.
We live in California.

Congratulations on the new rig. You'll love how much more stable pulling a 5th wheel is over a bumper pull.

I drove it back from Indiana. Loved how it pulled even though it is much bigger than our TT. Very different experience.

Welcome, Nick from Livermore, California. Lots of great information here. Per my email, if you can’t make the fall rally, try to come down to Quartzsite. I know there will be a number of us with solar there and we can compare notes. Best of luck with the new Montana.

Hello, I think your name is Nick? Congratulations on the purchase, I live in Los Angeles and planning on my 1st RV purchase in a few months, wondering where you bought in Indiana and what justified that long distance purchase? Worth the drive? I have no idea where to buy and open to any positive dealer feedback. Thanks, Neil

Congrats on the purchase of your new Montana. You are very wise to use your new Montana for a year before going full time in it. Not only unwanted warranty issues may arise that will keep it off the road a short while, but it gives you the time to customize it for your unique lifestyle.

Enjoy that new Montana! And too bad you couldn't hang around a bit longer in Indiana. We have some really great State Parks that are well worth exploring.

Welcome to the forum. These folks know a lot about Montanas, I have owned mine for a year and a half and have been helped by them a lot. Good luck and congratulations on retirement, we retired around the time that we bought our Montana and love it. Keep us in the loop on your solar install please, I am going to give it a try this winter and will pay close attention!

Congrats on the new rig and welcome to the forum from Phoenix, AZ. We bought our 3121RL late 2020 and really enjoy the unit. Lots of room and lots of comfy space my wife and I. We really enjoy camping along the California coast line. We have camped at many spots from San Diego to Monterey and have plans to go up further North later. Enjoy and be safe out there!!
