Check The Coils On Your Residential Fridge

Samsung residential fridge after about a year. Just didn't sound the same as it had.

Rolled it out of the slide onto two 2x6's stacked 2 high. The layer of dust came off like a blanket with my shop vac.

Pictures are sideways.

Did that cause water inside the fridge under the crisper drawers?

We have a GE but we are constantly sweeping up after our shedding dog. Makes me think I need to set a date on my calendar to remind to check the fridge.

No problems with water draining. Just noticed the cooling fans on our inverter cycling more often and the fridge was just sounding "off".

All I could see was a pretty heavy layer of dust under the fridge. When I got it out and the panel off the back I was astonished to see the condenser totally clogged. I've now got it on a 6 month schedule.

What do you disconnect to allow it to roll out...is there a set of brackets?

It's just a set of brackets that screw to the wall on either side in the rear with a piece that goes across the front between the fridge and freezer. Unbolt both sides of the front cross bar and it comes right out.

Check this out. I just fixed mine today. I have a 2018 3121rf and the drain was frozen. Water in crisper box and frozen water
under freezer bottom door.

Wouldn't it be nice if there was an access panel from the outside that gave access to the coils?

We have two Golden Retrievers that shed a bunch. I have to do ours fairly often.
