Central Vac Tools

Picking no up a new 3721 Saturday, do they come with central vac tools or should I pack the ones from my old unit?

Your new 3721 should definitely come with vac tools.

Congrats by the way on a great floor plan.

Congratulations! We got a 3720 earlier this summer and love it. You may want to have them put regular hinges on the bathroom door. If you leave the door on there the way it came from the factory you can't get in the bathroom or bedroom without putting the slide out. A number of us have made this mod.

Probably has a brush and crevice tools but little else. I bought the "power" head seperately. It was worthless as the vac doesn't have enough suction to operate the brush. Bought a Shark.

That's why I ordered my 5er without the vacuum and installed a Dirt Devil unit instead, although the self-retracting hose is kind of a PITA.

I honestly have never used one of the central vac's in any of my RVs, I like the Dyson V8. The new one came with tools and they will be ready for the next guy when I trade this one in. I am considering the bathroom door mod and I really don't like the bedroom door, I suspect both will just be removed and left in storage at S&B. So far uneventful weekend in new unit. I will be figuring out how to do the AC vent/return mods, as I notice that the rear of the unit is not nearly as cool as the front. Kind of embarrassed at the amount of crap I had accumulated in the old Montana.

We had one in our 2008 and it was near worthless. When ordering current 2012 deleted the central vac and bought a small Dirt Devil from Walmart. It does a much better job and takes up less space when storing it in the basement.
