3900FB vs 3910FB

Has anyone seen the new 3910FB in real life? I have always liked the 3900FB and been thru a couple of them. Wife has not seen any in real life but does like the floor plan for the 3900FB. I like the floor plan better for the 3910FB and I think if she sees the placement of the "his-n-hers" sinks in the 3910FB for real.........shopping may be over!!

Here is a link to a dealer who has one with pictures...nice changes to the 3900FB but still looks like the amount of storage has been reduced....agreed have to see in person to determine

Good Luck!

The furnace and water heater on the curb side by the door? Deal breaker for me.

We have the 3900FB and love it! The only things we wish were different, are now available in the 3910FB: Larger shower, stackable w/d outside the closet. We have only seen pictures, but hubby wants to look into trading. We have only had ours since October and I don't think the changes are worth the loss we would take.

Just curious, WeBeFulltime - why are the curb side furnace and water heater deal breakers for you?

We have the 2013 3900FB and love it. Looking at the pictures of the
3910FB I see lots of negatives for us compared to the 3900FB. What you need to do is really do your homework. Look at the pluses and the
minuses of each unit, than make your decision. The 3900FB has his & her sinks in the upper bathroom and I feel the bathroom is also bigger & doesn't have a toilet next to the shower. Also we like the computer pull out desk in the living room which I don't see on the 3910. Also I think the 1/2 bath looks bigger in the 3900. Good Luck.
In what ever you decide. Just my 2 cents worth.

Why is that a dealer breaker for you?

We spent a great deal of time in a real 3910 this afternoon, and it was nice. Major difference between the 3900 was a double sink and relocation of the toilet, and a much larger side by side shower.

We looked at one a couple of days ago. I think the pantry is better. I like the drawers in the main bathroom and all the bathroom vanities have shelves built in them. In the 3900FB - none of the bathroom vanities have a shelf built in. You have to sit things on the floor, or put your own shelf in. I haven't gotten around to that, yet. With the w/d moved out of the closet, there may be less floor space in the front bathroom, but it is still bigger than any other bathroom available, and you can now use the whole closet. LOVE the big shower!
