Inside wood trim around entry door frame

On the middle of the door frame on the right side the wood trim has become unglued and I'd like to fasten it again, but I'm not sure what do use. I was going to glue and clamp the area of the loose trim as a means of securing it back to the door frame, but thought If for some reason in the future if it had to be removed gluing it might cause a problem. I then thought of getting double sided tape and inserting it between the wood trim and door frame and clamping it, but I'm not sure if it would be a solid fix over the long term. Has anyone had a similar problem, and if so, how did you re-attach the wood trim and is it a solid fix?

Your input is appreciated

The problem I have seen on several of our rigs is that when they install the trim they cut it an 1/8 inch too long so when it gets humid outside the trim pops out. I took mine down completely and cut 1/4 inch off bottom then reinstalled it with air nailer../

I put the plank vinyl floor in our Monty.. as for the wood trim around the door.. When I went to install the floor the trim broke into several places.. Went to Lowes, picked up some trim and stained it.. looks like it came from the factory that way..
