In four more days, 3/21, Vicki and I celebrate our first anniversary of fulltiming. We started out as most people do, hoping it will work well for us but fearful we'll be disappointed. It has worked out beautifully and we recently noted that we are going to need a number of more years doing this to see and do everything we want to do in this beautiful country.
When we started, Vicki was the more reluctant one. But recently she told me she's sure glad I "convinced" her to do this. For those considering fulltiming, please consider giving it a trial run, a month or so. We did that and found not only did we not kill each other in the closer quarters, our marriage became even stronger (we're at 33 years). That trial run also showed us what works for us and what doesn't, what we need to take with us, etc.
