11 Montana's here.....!!

We stopped for a few days at a great park east of Mesa Az on our journey toward Mission Tx.
The place is called Canyon Vistas and has a huge pool (days in the mid 80's and sunny), billiard room (9 tables), fitness rm with tons of equipment, and wood shop, ceramics, putting green, the works. It is asphalt roads with gravel sites all very wide. Lots of park models as I think that is the direction they want to go, but with 600 spaces, probably only about 10% are the park models. Lots of folks staying the winter here.
Very nice folks, its part of the CalAm system in this area.
Observed 11 Montana's, one Big Sky, and several mountaineers.
Passport America makes the rates very reasonable.

Start spreading the word about the MOC. How nice to see that many Montanas in one place.

Don't have any MOC cards but did chat with two of the Montana owners who were outside doing chores and told them about all the help and advice I had gotten hear on the forum, both were long time fulltimers, but the 5ers were pretty new. They weren't aware of this forum so I explained how to log on.

A lot of us have made "business cards" with the MOC information on them to stick in doors when you see a Montana and no one is home. Then made some with names and email address with the MOC logo and logon info for when you are actually speaking with a Montana owner. Glenn posted his sometime ago. They are easy to make and print on your printer. You can buy blank sheets of business cards that you print on. If you can't find Glenn's post by searching, let us know.
Happy trails......................

Actually I carry 2 cards,

The first one I use when no one is around the site.

This one I hand out on those one on one encounters

Glenn, Could you post the editable & printable pages (for standard business card stock) on the Montana Owners Pages? I had the files (I think Doug Henry sent them to me) but lost them when my hard disk crashed.

Thanks,
Sharon

JERRY and KAREN--Where abouts is Canyon Vistas? Couldn't find this park in my Passport America Directory. Will be in that area in February and are looking for a park near Gilbert. Thanks.

Canyon Vistas is listed on page 25 of the Passport America 14th edition directory. It is actually listed as being in Gold Canyon. We have been through there last year and it is a great spot.

Ron & Vic-- We will be up at Eagles Nest in Ft. McDowell for the month of Feb. We will have our email and give us a nudge and maybe we can meet if you are down in Gold Canyon

Jim and Dagmar -- How kind -- we always enjoy meeting other MOC members. We do not have our entire February planned out as of yet, but do know that it will be spent in Arizona. If time permits, will get in touch while we are in the Gilbert area. Continued safe travels ......
