All I can say is WOW! That is a really nice set up (and an excellent job on the placement of those reflectors too). I am going to save the pics of this cuz it looks like it may be a good next step in our boondocking "experience". For this year though, I'll probably lug the gen out of the truck bed (my 5 foot something DW needs more time at the gym before tackling that job). Thanks for taking the time to send this to me.

If you haven't purchased a generator yet, I just got a Yamaha EF2000iS from www.electricgeneratorsdirect.com. paid 989, no tax, no shipping. I plan on getting another soon and connected they will run all I need.

I have the Honda 2000's, they both fit nicely in the cross box in the back of my truck with room for fuel and space to spare

Well, I bought the reconditioned $400 2000W Champion inverter generator off the Ebay site. Free shipping and no sales tax with a 90 day warranty. It was delivered in two days, started on the first pull and I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is (on the Econ mode). So, we'll see how it does this April and May on our trip out to AZ and UT. I figure that by the end of that trip I'll know if it was a decent purchase or will graciously take some "I told you so's"
