I'm looking at replacing my Marathons as well. I was looking at Lonnies recommendations and saw the Michelin XPS RIB at the top of his list, hover I came across this when researching them ... "Highway Rib Summer tires are not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice." That makes me a bit nervous as I live in Colorado and we can get all 4 seasons in one day. Additionally, we like to head south in March for a getaway and I want to be sure I'm on tires that can handle all temperatures.
Is there anyone out there running these Michelins that also run them in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice? Comments? Thanks!

I have Michlein XPS all steel tires on my 2007 @ 2001 Montanas. I put 70,000 miles on both trailers with no flates or blowouts. They have preformed very well for me.

That's an excellent testimony .. thanks! BTW, was any of that towing in ice/snow and if so, how did the tires perform?
